I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. -Psalm 16:8
Over the past two weeks God has blessed me by allowing me to be there for my friends; and for allowing my friends to be there for me. He has given me laughter and family. He has allowed me to pass my U.S. History I CLEP test today. By His grace, I now have 57 credits. Fifty-seven credits that I don't deserve, but that I am thankful for.
In the time since I've last posted, I've learned more about what it truly means to be a sister-in-Christ to someone. I've been in awe, and I've been in shock. I've been confused and pondering God's will for me. Of late, I've been praying hard for guidance and for wisdom.
Since this is just a collection of some rambling and somewhat-insignificant thoughts of a seventeen-year-old college student who is in love with her LORD and excited about life, it seemed fitting to include some snapshots from life. Snapshots of random little things...
What has been going on in your life, friend?
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. -Psalm 37:3-4
May God bless and keep you all.

Loving this post. The pictures, and the verse, and the words all sort of just flowed together. By the way, I just read your first and second (but really 'first') posts, and found out how you came up with your blog's name. I love the Phantom of the Opera♥ Now I'll get it running in my head whenever I browse your blog :D
xoxo,
Jessica
Jessica, thank you so much! All I can say is that the words certainly did not come from me. Everything I wrote is what God has been putting on my heart.
Thank you for your kind words and your encouragement, though. :-)
Haha. Yes, three years ago when I started this blog, I named it from the lyrics from the Phantom of the Opera. I agree, I love the PotO music and I still laugh whenever I read my blog title.
Have a blessed evening!
Love in Christ,
Cassandra
I've been praying hard for guidance and wisdom too. And I'm trying to focus on the joy that comes in seeking (even if the answers don't come as fast as I want :). I love your snapshots of life! I can't wait to see Hugo. I adored that book! (Your blog is lovely, btw! :)

Well, I've spent hours researching end times recently. Interesting, but complicated.
By the way, great hat! I have one similar to yours. What would you say the best way is to keep it from falling off your head?
-Carrie
p.s. Sounds like you'll have a blast! Make sure you take lots of pictures and tell us all about it! =)
Carrie... I agree. The end times are fascinating, but there are so many conflicting views and confusing passages. Not the easiest thing to study.
Hm. About the beret. I honestly don't do anything special to keep it on. I usually wear it pulled back on my hairline a little bit and, while I'm wearing it, I had to keep adjusting and pulling it down in the back, at the nape of my neck. (It tends to ride up.) Make sure that you find one that fits and has a tight enough band around the bottom so it doesn't fall off.
Thank you for your sweet comment! It was positively lovely to hear from you.
Cassie
P.S. Thank you! I plan to take an enormous amount of pictures and I'll have to curb myself so I don't end up posting too many of them. :-)
