I'm exhausted.... After studying extra hard last night and this morning I had finally felt prepared. Early this morning, I got a relatively high score on my practice test and was feeling confident and ready to pass with a great score. When I started my test, however, I realized that it was going to be different than what I had prepared for.
One of the things that encouraged me, though, in the midst of my challenging test, is an email I received from a CollegePlus! friend this morning. She said the following:
"Don’t want to interrupt your studying, but I wanted to let you know I’m praying for you! For a good score, for sure, but mostly for peace and the ability to rest in your Savior’s will! God bless you, Cassie! Now go test for the glory of God!"
Have I mentioned how much I love my CP! peoples?
Anyway, if any of you are going to be taking the CLEP Western Civilizations II Exam, keep in mind that it's a tricky test. Instead of questions about Stalin and Hitler, I was asked about Otto Von Bismarck. Instead of questions of WWII, I had to analyze the Treaty of Westphalia in the Thirty Years' War. Instead of questions about the development of the Industrial Revolution, I needed to know population and urbanization. Instead of knowing about Marx's ideas, I needed to know how Lenin amended them... And that's only a small example of the nature of the test.
After a lot of prayer and help from the Lord, I was graciously allowed to pass with a 53. It's my lowest score yet and I'm disappointed, but, after that test, I'm just thankful that I passed!
That's 54 credits total now... Only two more tests and I'm a junior! Thank you, Father God!!!

I'm sure you feel much better to be done and over with that test - and don't be too disapointed with your score; it sounds like you prepared as best as you could, and that's what counts! When I get a low grade on something I really tried hard on, I try to remind myself that I seriously did the best I could. The effort is what counts!
I'm almost through with World History, so I just finished studying Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, etc!!! Interesting, for sure, but awful people!
Congratulations again! 54 credits? That's amazing! WCI and II will be next Spring for me. I'm a little nervous...but with your help, I'm sure I'll pass! :D Have a blessed day, sister!
