We are adding a room onto the front of our house, and, because of that, we were forced to take out our beautiful garden. I will miss watching the little green sprouts grow. I will miss nibbling the still-warm-from-the-sun strawberries. I will miss taking Cora outside and helping her to pick tomatoes. I will miss our garden.
Nevertheless, since it had to go, we gathered all of our veggies and herbs and Courtney, Rachel, and I washed and preserved it all while Cora attempted to help.
We set Cora up with a bowl with soap and water so she could wash our potatoes.
She was happy for ages.
Little sudsy hands... Adorable.
We washed and dried enormous amounts of sage.

Homegrown potatoes...
...and tomatos!
Even though I'm sorrowful at the destruction of our hard-build garden, I had a lovely time working along-side my friends. God truly blessed our labors and granted us a bountiful harvest.

Awww, that's really sad that you had to take out your beautiful garden : ( But I'm sure it will be nice to have another room in the house.
